P2-123 Return Activated Sludge Piping Replacement

Axia Electric, a Shimmick Company, delivered electrical upgrades for the P2-123 Return Activated Sludge Piping Replacement project at Orange County Sanitation District. The work involved removing and reinstalling wiring for new valve actuators and integrating twelve new 14-inch isolation valves into the updated sludge piping system. Axia also replaced existing light poles around the activated sludge basin and secondary clarifiers, improving illumination and site safety. These efforts supported the broader replacement of approximately 1,400 linear feet of deteriorated RAS piping and the repair of concrete cracks within the basin structures.
