Electrical Project ExecutiveDavid Cruz, Electrical Project Executive at Axia Electric, has more than 23 years of experience leading complex electrical projects and operations throughout California and the Southwest. Having advanced from apprentice to executive leadership, he brings extensive field and operational experience across commercial, industrial, healthcare, aviation, renewable energy, hospitality, and mission-critical markets. His experience spans operations management, workforce development, business growth, client relations, safety leadership, and project delivery.
Mr. Cruz has led large-scale electrical construction projects and portfolios including the Terminal 2 West Expansion at San Diego International Airport, Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, and Palomar Medical Center. These high-profile projects required extensive planning, coordination, and execution to deliver complex electrical systems that support critical operations and essential services.
In addition to operations leadership, Mr. Cruz has extensive experience in preconstruction, constructability, BIM/VDC coordination, planning, and electrical prefabrication. He has helped develop and implement prefabrication programs and standardized assemblies designed to improve quality, productivity, material efficiency, and project execution. His leadership focuses on building high-performing teams, developing future leaders, and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
